Anthony D. Moulton , PhD, Senior Policy Advisor, CDC Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services
Anthony Moulton is Senior Policy Advisor with CDC’s Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services. He directed/co-directed CDC’s Public Health Law Program, 2000-2010, served as CDC Chief of Public Health Practice in 2006, and earlier was Associate Director for Policy in the Public Health Practice Program Office. He was Deputy Commissioner for Budget and Planning, State of Missouri, 1989-93, and earlier served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Gujarat, India.
Moulton’s most recent publication is “Law, Public Health, and the Diabetes Epidemic”, Am J Preventive Medicine 2013;45(4), with coauthors Ann L. Albright, Edward W. Gregg, and Richard A. Goodman. He holds a Ph.D. degree in political science from the University of Chicago, with specialization in public policy, and a B.A. in government from Dartmouth College.
